Imre Makovecz’s oeuvre is an organic element of Visegrád’s built landscape. Therefore, the City Council of the Local Municipality of the City of Visegrád awarded posthumous “honorary citizen of Visegrád” status to Imre Makovecz in recognition of his creative work in and for the city.
