On the occasion of Imre Makovecz’s birthday, a memorial ceremony was organized by the Seven Towers Festival. The event was held before the commemorative plaque on the house where the late architect lived at Villányi u. 8 in Budapest. Prior to wreath laying, speeches were delivered by dr. László Molnár, deputy mayor of district 11 and László Zsigmond, director of the Károly Kós Association. The event was attended by all members of the Imre Makovecz Foundation.
