A conference commemorating Imre Makovecz was held on the opening day.

A unique event was the rerun of a lecture given by Imre Makovecz in Kaposvár 40 years ago, this time delivered by actor Csaba Hüse.

The exhibition was opened by mayor Károly Szita and Prof. emeritus György Fekete, chairman of the Hungarian Academy of Arts.

The exhibition runs through 29 July.
