In accordance with the related government decree enacted in 2013, the Imre Makovecz oeuvre book, sponsored by the National Cultural Fund, is now ready. The new book is a sequel to “Designs, buildings, writings 1959-2001”, which was published in 2002. The two volumes will be available for purchase separately or as a pair.

The book launch will be held at the Károly Kós room of the Association of Hungarian Architects (MÉSZ) at 5 PM on Wednesday, 18 November (Budapest, 1088 Ötpacsirta utca 2.).

The event will a podium discussion with MÉSZ chairman László Sáros, Eszter Götz the book’s editor, and Benjamin Makovecz, the book’s graphic designer.

The book will be introduced by Miklós Sulyok.

Similarly to the first volume, the second volume is published by the Epl Publishing House, with a contribution from the Imre Makovecz Foundation.
