Siófok, evangélikus templom

A Balaton-parti üdülő sok turistát vonz az észak-európai országokból, részben az ő igényeiket szolgálja a templom, amelynek építéséhez jelentős segítséget nyújtott Finnország és amely belső faszerkezeteinek formájával a norvég stavechurch-öket idézi. Siófok, Lutheran Church

The resort area found around Lake Balaton attracts many tourists from Northern Europe; part of the reason for building this Lutheran church is to serve their religious needs. It should also be mentioned that a meaningful part of the construction costs came from Finland. The structure of the church’s inner, wooden frame is deliberately reminiscent of stave-church forms traditional to Norway. The adjoining parsonage also contains a circular, wooden cupola housing a chapel.
