Visegrád, Mogyoró-hegy kemping

Az erdei kemping területén és környékén a fák között és a tisztásokon több kis kiszolgáló létesítmény épült: mosdók, főző- és étkezőhelyek, kazánház és fürdő, raktár. Deszkával burkolt fa vázszerkezetek, indíttatásuknak megfelelően bútorok a természet által alkotott katedrálisban. A mosdóépület a népművészeti jelek elemzéséből született gondolat építészeti megfogalmazása, amelynek későbbi, nagyobb léptékű változata a paksi templom.

Visegrád, Mogyoró Hill, Camping Complex and Recreation Centre

A variety of service structures were built on or around the camping site, located in clearings of the forest. There are several washrooms, cooking and dining facilities, a boiler room, bath and storage. The buildings are all wooden structures covered with planks and, as befitting their surroundings, are minimal furnishings of natural cathedral: the forest. The buildings housing the washrooms are born out of the architect’s analysis of signs of folk art. This expression later returns in a large-scale version in the Roman Catholic church, Paks, with its heart-shaped ground plan.
