Tatabánya, Csákányosi csárda

Az épület közepén egy kémény áll, az alaprajz egy kört közelít. A kémény hagyományos rendeltetésén kívül a tetőszerkezet alátámasztó oszlopaként is funkcionál. Két nagyméretű ablakszemmel nyílik fel az egyébként zárt tömegű ház a kilátás felé. A csárda egy öt különböző tervből álló tervsorozat egyetlen megvalósult példája. Ez a megvalósulási arány általánosnak tekinthető. A tatabányai csárda az emberi arc képének és a koponya zártságának szeretett volna építészeti példája lenni.

Tatabánya, Csákányosi Inn

A chimney stands in the middle of the building, the floor plan of which comes close to being a perfect circle. The chimney also functions as the supporting column for the roof structure. Two large eyes open up the otherwise closed building in the direction of the best view from the site. The inn is part of a series of plans, but it was the only one to be realized out of five, different designs-which in fact is the average ratio between realized and unrealized plans. In any event, the inn in Tatabánya would have liked to have been an architectural example of the image of a human face, including the skull’s closed nature; but no better example of this form can be found than in a yurt or a helmet.
